Every gamer knows the golden rule: loot everything that isn't nailed down. But what happens when the one thing you actually need to survive... is nailed down?

Welcome to Nailed Down, a text-based point-and-click adventure that satirizes the modern video game industry, survival tropes, and your own questionable decision-making skills.

The alien armada has arrived. The apocalypse is here. You are an average gamer—weak, tired, chronically online, and completely unqualified to save the world. Fortunately, you have a reinforced underground shelter. Unfortunately, the landlord's incompetent handyman drove an absurdly oversized iron nail straight through the shelter key, pinning it to the floorboards.

Guided (and relentlessly mocked) by a sarcastic narrator who alternates between saving your life and openly despising you, you must figure out how to bypass this single, indestructible obstacle. Nailed Down respects your intelligence just enough to insult it. There are no filler "you can't do that" responses—every interaction yields either a genuine game-state change or a punchline.

ABOUT THIS DEMO: This is an early demo featuring the first 2 levels of the game. The full release is planned to feature 8 levels of escalating absurdity.

I am releasing this now because I actively want your feedback. This is a solo indie project, and your thoughts, bug reports, and creative insults will directly shape the final version of the game. Drop a comment, let me know what works, what breaks, and whether the Narrator was too mean (or not mean enough).
